DBA XP Xtreme is a Kevlar metallic compound designed to maintain stable friction at high temperatures. Recommended for track use and 4X4 applications where high heat is generated by heavy towing loads or heavily outfitted vehicles. Expect some noise and dust.

DBA T2 Street Series Slotted Brake Rotors and DBA XP Xtreme Performance Brake Pads

DBAs T2 Street Series is an entry level performance rotor, offering improved braking straight out of the box. Featuring DBAs patented pillar vane design and bi-symmetrical slot design, T2 is a strong, durable brake rotor that provides an attractive, aggressive appearance.

Using a series of 144 diamond and teardrop patterned pillars (or columns) instead of conventional straight cooling vanes, the design increases cooling efficiency by up to 20% when compared with most other conventional ventilated disc rotors.
As well as providing cooler conditions, the DBA's pillar vane system also provides additional support to the friction face. This enables the rotor to maintain the fine tolerances over the life of the rotor better than a straight vane design, which can “balloon” and swell between the vanes when operating at high temperatures. The pillars are evenly spread across the disc face and make the rotor stronger, more stable and more consistent in operation.

Slotting limits the possibility of glazing your brake pads and allows better 'pad-bite' under extreme braking conditions. Slotting constantly improves the disc pad friction face by wiping away the impurities and resins in the friction material.

The XP Performance is ideal for applications where high temperature performance is required. This pad features a Kevlar metallic formula, and can comfortably operate at temperatures in excess of 650°C (1200°F), while maintaining excellent pedal feel. The XP Performance is perfect for passenger cars being used in high-temperature applications as well as 4X4 applications where high heat is generated by heavy towing loads or heavily outfitted vehicles.
