The High Performance Street compound offers a higher coefficient of friction over stock brake pads and can provide you 20-40% more stopping power and higher resistance to brake fade than most standard replacement pads. Less fade means you will have a highly durable brake pad with less brake dust.
All Hawk Performance High Performance Street brake pads provide a limited lifetime warranty, ensuring products to be free of defects from manufacturer’s workmanship and materials.
Note: Hawk Performance burnishes its High Performance Street brake pads as a final step in the factory, but all brake pads have to be bedded-in with the rotors (new or used) that they will be used against. Properly bedding-in new brake pads results in a transfer film being generated at the pad and rotor interface to maximize brake performance.

The DS2500 compound is primarily designed for high performance road use however its excellent temperature range make DS2500 our most highly recommended street/track 'combo' pad. Particulary effective where a high temperature range is required with low to medium friction requirements such as lower grip tires and/or surfaces.
These pads have long been our favorite pad to recomend to modern high performance car owners where usefulness in a variety of conditions is desired. Aside from moderate dusting and some potential for noise you can run these pads in most street and light track conditions.
DS2500 has a moderate friction level that remains constant throughout the working range. Ferodo DS Performance pads are supplied to you 'ready to perform' which means that they reach maximum efficiency after only one or two brake applications. As braking temperatures rise DS2500 performance continues to deliver consistent and reliable braking. This graph illustrates an impressively stable friction level up to the maximum operating temperature.

 Disc Brakes Australia has worked for decades with race teams, manufacturers, and users to develop and refine their brake rotor products. All processes, from tooling and vane design to alloys, heat treating and packaging, are controlled by DBA to produce some of the highest quality brake rotors for performance applications.

DBA rotors start with their Kangaroo Paw vane design that features 144 diamond and teardrop patterned pillars (or columns) instead of more typical straight cooling vanes. This design can increase cooling efficiency by up to 20%. These pillars are center split and evenly distributed across the disc face to make the rotor stronger, more stable and more consistent in operation. DBA then uses a specific heat treated XG-150 cast iron alloy in all of its premium performance disc brake rotors. This iron is higher in carbon and specifically alloyed and heat treated to improve thermal characteristics.

The T3 4000 series rotors are slotted as shown. Slotting can reduce pad glazing and allow better pad bite under hard braking conditions. It can also help maintain the pad friction surface by wiping debris generated from hard braking.

The AX6 is specifically engineered for Autocross applications. A high torque brake compound delivering reliable and consistent performance over a very wide operating temperature range of 50 F to 1100 F + (10 C to 593 C+). The advanced compound matrix provides an excellent initial bite, high coefficient of friction at lower temperatures along with very progressive brake modulation and release characteristics.
AX6 offers high fade resistance, rotor friendliness at all temperatures and excellent cold stopping power. As a result, AX6 is an excellent choice for Autocross and has gained tremendous popularity with SCCA Prosolo/Solo2 competitors for its outstanding all around performance. Many drivers use the AX6 for street driving as well, even though Carbotech doesn't recommend street driving with AX6 due to possible elevated levels of dust and noise.

The R6 compound is widely used for street use as well, but this compound will more than likely make noise on the street.

Several brake pads on the market boast ceramic technology. DS1.11 is the real thing. It is based upon a chemical family known as Siloxanes. Unlike carbon based materials, siloxane chains do not decompose at high temperatures and so DS1.11 keeps working up to the highest temperatures a brake pad could see. That means it won't fade and has excellent life. Moreover the performance remains exactly the same throughout the pad's life.
 It is formulated to provide a very flat friction profile at a medium/high level of friction. The pad compression is very low, so pedal travel is short and consistent.
The main characteristics of DS1.11 are:

- High coefficient of friction (0,46) at all speeds and temperatures 
- Excellent life of pad and disc 
- High initial bite 
- Predictability and control because of the unvarying torque output

KNS Brake Rotors are manufactured by Disc Brakes Australia and designed for hard use.

The Girodisc 2 piece rotor system is a direct replacement for the OEM brake disc and unless noted no additional modifications are necessary. The disc will bolt directly to the car and work perfectly with OEM calipers. 
Center hats are made from U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The discs are made from Girodisc proprietary cast iron, poured in the USA and machined from start to finish in house at Girodisc. The discs use a curved vane design developed in racing that acts as a centrifugal pump to efficiently move cooling air.
The rotor and hat are a floating mount design which uses high strength alloy steel drive pins secured by grade 12 cap screws and hardened washers. The floating system allows both axial and radial float to keep the rotor self centered under high heat conditions. Spring washers are also used to reduce rattle under cold or light use operation. 
Hardware is cadmium plated for long lasting corrosion resistance.

The DBA 5000 series is a direct replacement two-piece disc brake rotor, designed for drivers seeking performance braking. The DBA 5000 series disc rotors consists of two main components: the aluminum center hat and the cast iron disc rotor. These two components are bolted together with NAS (National Aerospace Standard) bolts and lock nuts, hence the term 'two-piece' rotor. The main advantage of a two-piece rotor is the ability to allow the cast-iron disc rotor to expand and contract uniformly as the temperature rises and falls during brake application. The benefits of this is minimal distortion and warping of the cast-iron disc rotor. 
The Aluminum mounting center hat is made from super-light 6061-T6 Aluminium material, as used in aircraft structural design. The thermal conductivity and high strength of hat allows it to handle large temperature changes.
 After decades of design and development with race teams around the world, Disc Brakes Australia developed a proprietary cast iron (XG-150) for use in all of its premium performance disc brake rotors. This specially formulated iron is rich in carbon and alloyed to produce excellent thermal characteristics, which is a key factor in the production of the casting, combined with patented 'Kangaroo Paw' ventilation design. With its supersaturated solution of carbon in an iron matrix, the excess carbon precipitates out in the form of graphite flakes. The morphology of these graphite flakes provide excellent thermal properties, increasing the thermal shock resistance and allowing it to survive rapid thermal cycling with core-heat levels of approximately 1290ºF and above.
All DBA T3 5000 series rotors are slotted; slotting limits the possibility of glazing your brake pads and allows better 'pad-bite' under extreme braking conditions. Slotting constantly improves the disc pad friction face by wiping away the impurities and resins in the friction material.

 After decades of design and development with race teams around the world, Disc Brakes Australia developed a proprietary cast iron (XG-150) for use in all of its premium performance disc brake rotors. This specially formulated iron is rich in carbon and alloyed to produce excellent thermal characteristics, which is a key factor in the production of the casting, combined with patented 'Kangaroo Paw' ventilation design. With its supersaturated solution of carbon in an iron matrix, the excess carbon precipitates out in the form of graphite flakes. The morphology of these graphite flakes provide excellent thermal properties, increasing the thermal shock resistance and allowing it to survive rapid thermal cycling with core-heat levels of approximately 1290ºF and above.
All DBA T3 5000 series rotors are slotted; slotting limits the possibility of glazing your brake pads and allows better 'pad-bite' under extreme braking conditions. Slotting constantly improves the disc pad friction face by wiping away the impurities and resins in the friction material.
