StopTech Big Brake Kits are a balanced brake upgrade system engineered specifically to directly replace your stock braking system. StopTech Big Brake Kits include forged 2-piece aluminum calipers with patented bolt-in bridges, AeroRotor 2-piece brake discs with aluminum hats, StopTech street performance brake pads, caliper adapter brackets, DOT-compliant stainless steel brake lines, and all hardware required for a complete installation.

StopteTech forged calipers have application specific piston sizes to provide the correct brake torque output using the vehicle's original master cylinder. This maintains proper brake bias for better modulation and control especially under hard braking. Also, these calipers have patented bolt in bridges to increase stiffness which greatly reduces system compliance resulting in a firm and responsive pedal. You will instantly notice a great improvement. Additionally, these calipers have dust boots for extended street use without requiring rebuild.

2-piece curved vane, floating AeroRotors are specifically designed to allow independent expansion of the rotor and hat due to the elongated drive pin holes. AeroRotor components include an AeroRotor friction ring with a patented AeroVane design and pre-assembled directional billet aluminium AeroHat with directional stand-offs to optimize cooling airflow. The patented AeroVane design pushes more air for better cooling and reduced fade. StopTech AeroRotors are 100% made in the USA, with both casting and machining taking place in California.

Options for these kits include several different caliper colors and either drilled or slotted rotors with or without zinc coating.

An optional anti-corrosion gold zinc coating benefits customers who live in cold climates, where snow and road salt are commonly encountered. Zinc coating also benefits customers who prefer less visible surface rust on the vanes and outer circumference of rotors.
